Naples is back at the center of the sailing world! From September 24 to 27, 2026, the waters of our magnificent Gulf will host the second Preliminary Regatta of the 38th America’s Cup.

Flying Over the Water: What Will We See?
During this Neapolitan stage, official teams (including the local favorite Luna Rossa) alongside young talents from the Youth & Women categories will race aboard ultra-fast AC40s.
These hydrofoiling one-design monohulls don’t just sail: they fly above the water at astonishing speeds reaching over 80 km/h (more than 45 knots).
- The schedule: Thrilling close-quarters fleet racing (Fleet Races) from Thursday to Saturday, followed by a dramatic final match race (Match Race) on Sunday between the top two crews.
- The view: The boats will race just off the Caracciolo Waterfront, offering an unforgettable spectacle with Mount Vesuvius and Castel dell’Ovo as the backdrop.
Where to Experience the Event: The Waterfront Race Village
The heart of the action on land will be the official Race Village set up along Lungomare Caracciolo.
- Free Entry: Access to the Race Village is completely free for all visitors.
- Giant Screens & Live Shows: You can watch the races live with expert commentary and enjoy cultural events, music, and talks late into the evening.
